This class is a mix of meditation and Yoga Nidra. The first part of the class you will be guided through a meditation. We use lots of props to make you comfortable. You are welcome to sit against a wall or even in a chair.
We then move into Yoga Nidra which is a meditative practice where we lie down and move through a slow body scan, focussed breathing and visualisation.
The deepest and loudest Delta brainwaves (0.1-4Hz) can be accessed during Nidra, which is a state of being usually detected during sleep or meditation.
Both of these practices deeply relax the body and are effective in assisting the healing process from many conditions such as: High Blood Pressure, Hypertension, Panic Attacks, Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Insomnia.
