Hatha yoga is different from a flow class where you are in a flow of movements connected to breath.  In Hatha yoga you can expect an emphasis on more static poses, simplicity, repetition and ease of movement from one pose to the next.  


Poses are held longer and the focus on deep stretching and strengthening.  Hatha Yoga is very grounding and increases focus and stamina. Breathing techniques and meditation are also  integrated. 

 

A great option for those who just want a good stretch without the flow.  Because there is plenty of time to move from one pose to the next and find a variation that suits your body, this class is also very good for beginners or those that haven't done yoga for a while.
