Yoga is designed to help you find that place within you that is calm, even when you find life to be challenging. The ultimate purpose of yoga is to still the mind, and as a bonus you will get strong, fit and flexible.

 

In this course we start from the beginning looking at the basic yoga poses.  We will learn different breathing techniques to work with your yoga poses and to also help calm the mind and body. 

 

This course will enable you to feel confident in taking regular yoga classes.  You will understand what class style suits you and how to modify poses to protect and suit your body.  

 

We supply mats and all props so no need to bring anything.  We do yoga bare foot.  Just wear whatever you are comfortable to move in: trackies, t-shirt, leggings, shorts etc.  

 

This course will be led by Jackie Allen who has been teaching yoga for 20 years and her specialty is beginners.
